Kıyafet Sepeti Refused to Refund




On April 15, 2024, I made a purchase totaling ₺6,099 with order code 1000900 from Kıyafet Sepeti website. The shipment arrived a week later, but the dress I received was a different color than advertised and too tight. I immediately initiated the return process, only to find out from the site's WhatsApp support that they don't offer refunds, only exchanges. Despite time constraints, I requested an exchange with the tags still intact and completed the process by selecting replacement dresses to cover the entire amount. To meet the total, I ordered two dresses; one was solely to meet the minimum amount. However, I was charged ₺85 for shipping on the second order, so on April 25, 2024, I placed another order, paying an additional ₺320. While one dress arrived, the main one for my wedding didn't. On April 30, 2024, I reported the issue but received no response. On May 2, 2024, I followed up, only to be told they were "checking" and received no further communication until 3:02 PM. When they finally responded, they claimed fabric issues from their end and couldn't provide the requested dress. Instead, they offered a ₺5,000 gift card in place of the remaining ₺4,460. I mentioned my wedding on May 4, 2024, and they promised to expedite, yet failed to deliver the dress even a day before the ceremony. I demand the full ₺4,460 refund as they failed to deliver the product within a week of ordering, and even if they could expedite now, I wouldn't have time for alterations. If they won't honor their commitment based on the stated terms on their website, I'm invoking my right to return under the Consumer Protection Law and Distance Sales Regulation.
