Kiyafet Sepeti Refused Refund for Online Dress Return, Issued Unwanted Store Credit


On September 30, 2024, I purchased a dress for ₺3,843 from Kıyafet Sepeti's online store. The dress was not custom-made or tailored for me; I simply selected a size from their website. After trying it on the same day, I found it didn’t fit and initiated a return the next day.
On December 5, 2024, I noticed from my bank statement that the refund had not been processed. After contacting customer service, they confirmed the refund was not issued and instead offered a one-year store credit without my consent. They claimed this was outlined in their distance sales agreement and even suggested I should have been more aware as a consumer. To make matters worse, they stated they would deduct ₺95 for shipping costs from my refund.
I demand a full refund of the ₺3,843 I paid for this item, which was returned promptly and is not custom-made. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I expect my money to be refunded immediately.
