Kiwi.com Delays Refund After Flight Cancellation Request

On December 12, 2025, I requested the cancellation of my reservation number 707 474 691 through Kiwi.com. This reservation was for four people, and I paid a total of $1,565. Even though one full week has passed since the cancellation request, the status shown in my account still only says: “Refund request submitted. We have received your request and are forwarding it to the airlines.” There has been no progress or update.

In addition, being told that a €30 deduction per person would be applied simply because I requested a cancellation is neither fair nor acceptable. When I try to contact Kiwi via live chat or email, I am constantly met with an automated system repeating the same responses, and I cannot reach a real representative. While the system was extremely fast during the booking process, it has become slow, unresponsive, and stalling when it comes to cancellations and refunds, which has seriously damaged my trust.

Because of Kiwi.com’s behavior, I have started to suspect that I am dealing with a structure that causes customer harm on an international scale. I find the service quality extremely poor. I am requesting that the full $1,565 paid for reservation 707 474 691 be refunded to me in full, without any deductions, including the proposed €30 per person fee.

On 12.12.2025 I filed a claim with Kiwi.com. Although the carrier, Sunexpress, shows in its system that the flight was cancelled, Kiwi.com, acting as the intermediary/seller, has still not issued any refund to me. The carrier tells me to contact the seller, and the seller, Kiwi.com, says it is still waiting for a response from the carrier. In fact, it is impossible to find any point of contact at Kiwi.com, i.e., the seller. They run all their systems with AI/bots. All of this company's operations appear suspicious. I will continue to pursue actions regarding the company's activities in Turkey and those who do business with it.

I requested a refund for my flight, which I booked through Kiwi.com and was canceled, on 12/12/2025. I still haven't received any payment. The complaint I filed on Şikayetvar.com was also not helpful. I advise anyone dealing with Kiwi.com to be careful. Victimization is likely...

Refund was not issued by Kiwi.com. After months, they said they gave a nonsensical credit under the name of travel credit. Be extremely careful before dealing with this company. Read the reviews about the company. The likelihood of becoming a victim is very high.
