Kayak Flight Price Prediction Cost Me More Money

I was searching for flights on Kayak from Istanbul to San Francisco for travel between November and December 2022/2023. For about a week, Kayak's price prediction feature repeatedly advised me to wait because fares were expected to drop.

I followed that recommendation and delayed purchasing my ticket. Instead of decreasing, the airfare increased by approximately 10–15%. Now, after the price has already gone up, Kayak is suddenly recommending that I buy the ticket.

I don't understand how the platform's fare predictions changed so dramatically. I relied on Kayak's guidance, and following those recommendations ended up costing me more. I believe its price prediction feature was misleading and caused me financial loss.
