Karaca Mastermaid 10 In 1 Grater Broke During Use - Warranty Refused
I am using a Karaca Mastermaid 10 in 1 kitchen robot and within the last month, while grating with the product, the grater part broke, pieces came into our mouths and then the handle also broke. I was using the device in accordance with the user manual; since the machine does not work without being locked, I locked it and operated it in the normal way. As far as I understand, the food probably hit the chamber with force while rotating and broke that part, but I did not do anything that could be considered misuse. I took the product to the authorized service Kalender Elektrik in Arnavutköy and also contacted Karaca customer services by phone. Customer services stated that according to the user manual, such a situation should not occur if it is used correctly and claimed that it was user error. However, the authorized service told me that it could be either user error or factory defect. Despite the fact that the product has not even been used for a year and is still under warranty, both the customer service and the service told me that I could only buy the broken parts for a fee and did not provide any support under warranty. I do not accept that such a dangerous breakage, where fragments can enter the mouth while grating, is simply declared as user error without any clear justification, especially on a product that is still under warranty and used according to the manual. I request that the broken parts of my Karaca Mastermaid 10 in 1 kitchen robot be sent to me free of charge, or that my product be replaced with a new one, or that my payment be refunded. I kindly ask for this issue to be re-evaluated and resolved in my favor.
