I purchased a brand new Jeep Renegade 1.5 Hybrid from the dealership in June 2023. I noticed the vehicle jerking during gear shifts and when starting from a stop. This jerking motion intensified over time. I waited until the first scheduled maintenance to report this issue to the service center. They claimed to have updated the transmission data, but the problem persisted.
I returned the vehicle, and we test drove another model where the issue wasn't present. They kept my car for 10 days for expert evaluation, only to conclude it was a 'chronic' condition and nothing was wrong. While service personnel acknowledged transmission issues, the expert insisted on reporting the vehicle as fault-free despite the obvious problem.
I'm requesting a genuine fix for my vehicle's issue. If not resolved, I've informed them that I'll be pursuing legal action.
