JBL Tune 770 Headphone Hinge Breaks During Normal Use

On November 28, 2024, I purchased JBL Tune 770 wireless headphones from Media Markt. Although I used the product carefully and under normal conditions, the hinge section of the headphones suddenly broke on Friday, February 6, 2026. There was no impact, drop, or any situation that could be considered user error. I still have the product’s invoice, warranty certificate, and original box. Despite this, the authorized representative I contacted told me that the headphones could only be sent to the service center and that I would be responsible for paying any repair costs determined by the service. I do not accept this approach for a product that is still under warranty and whose hinge broke on its own during normal use. I request that my JBL Tune 770 headphones be evaluated as a defective product and that a replacement be provided without charging me any fees.
