First of all, with respect and greetings, I am reaching out to you because I believe you are the ones who can best resolve my issue. I would like to explain the injustice I have faced from the bank and the law office, who are now trying to collect three times the original amount of my debt. About a year ago, I took out a personal loan backed by a guarantor from İş Bank’s Şanlıurfa/Akçakale branch to start a business. The loan amount was ₺195,000. I paid the first three installments, but then suffered unexpected losses in my business due to a devastating earthquake and flood. I was forced to shut down the business and could no longer repay the loan due to circumstances beyond my control. As a result of delays, I fell into default and became subject to legal enforcement. The bank handed over my file to "E******** Law Office, Av. Ö*** E********" in Şanlıurfa/Haliliye, who initiated enforcement proceedings, starting with deductions from my guarantor. These deductions have been ongoing for a year. Recently, when I checked through government and bank portals, I saw that my remaining debt totaled ₺102,000. I saved up money through work, completed the amount, and wanted to settle and close the debt through reconciliation. İş Bank Akçakale directed me to the law office, but when I contacted E******** Law Office, I was shocked by the figures they provided. Despite ₺95,000 already being paid via enforcement, they claimed I still owed ₺431,000. They calculated ₺50,000 in interest as ₺108,500, raised the attorney’s fee from ₺15,000 to ₺41,000, and added another ₺27,000 for collection, taxes (BSMV), and other expenses. How is this not an injustice? We want to repay our debt, but the process has been made nearly impossible with excessive additions. Please help me. My actual remaining debt is ₺102,000, but they are demanding ₺334,000—and I’ve already paid ₺95,000 of it. I sincerely ask for your help.
