I paid off my Garanti Bank overdraft account late and then restructured the debt. After making a few installments, on March 21, 2025, I deposited the remaining ₺1,500 into my Garanti account, and the bank automatically collected it. However, since March 2025 — more than eight months now — I have received no confirmation that my debt has been fully paid. According to my Findeks report obtained through e-Devlet, I still appear to owe ₺659. Because of this, my credit score is not being calculated, and despite being a public employee with no other debts, my credit card applications are being rejected. I went to the Garanti Bank branch in İzmirspor to resolve the issue, but they only gave me the lawyer’s phone number. When I called the lawyer, I was redirected back to the branch. I also contacted Garanti Bank customer service, but they said they couldn’t see the issue in their system and told me to visit the branch again. Neither the branch nor the law office has been helpful. The last four digits of my customer number linked to the overdraft account are 6194. I have the payment receipt and account statement proving that I fully paid my debt on March 21, 2025, and I can provide them if needed. I request that Garanti Bank and all relevant institutions, including Findeks, be notified that my debt has been fully paid, that my credit score be updated, and that I receive a written explanation. I kindly ask for this issue to be resolved as soon as possible.
