IQ Boost Charged My Card Without Consent For Unauthorized Membership
On August 21, my bank card was charged twice by the IQ Boost app via Google, even though I never signed up for a membership. The first charge was for €0.50, followed by another for €39.90, totaling two unauthorized transactions.
The only communication I received was a generic email notification stating that a membership had been created. I did not approve, confirm, or use this membership in any way. Since then, I have attempted to contact the app’s support email address regarding the charges, but I have not received any response.
Adding to the frustration, I have no way of knowing whether this unwanted subscription is still active or whether further charges will continue.
I am requesting an immediate cancellation of this unauthorized membership and a full refund of the charges. I urge IQ Boost to provide clear communication and transparency, as consumers should not be subjected to hidden or forced subscriptions without explicit consent.
