My iPhone 16 Pro Max Front Camera Shows Distorted Selfies

I bought an iPhone 16 Pro Max from the Apple Store just 15 days ago. When I take selfies with the front camera, the screen shows one image, but after I capture the photo and check the gallery, the picture looks completely different—pixelated, dark, and distorted. I can’t tell if this is a camera setting issue or a hardware defect with the phone. This problem is really frustrating because I expect high-quality photos from such an expensive device. Apple, please help me figure out what’s wrong and how to fix it. I want this resolved quickly or a replacement if necessary.
