iPhone 11 Locked Itself and Erased All Data – Apple Support Unhelpful
While holding my iPhone 11, the screen suddenly froze, displaying a message saying "iPhone Unavailable." Despite entering my correct passcode, the screen kept locking for increasing amounts of time—first for 1 minute, then 5 minutes, and eventually for hours. The only solution was to restore the device, but because I didn’t have an iCloud backup, I lost everything. This included all my apps, email accounts, passwords, and most devastatingly, 6-7 years’ worth of photos and videos.
Apple Support provided no assistance over the phone, leaving me without any recourse to recover my lost data. This incident has caused both financial and emotional harm, as my data loss was entirely unnecessary and beyond my control. I expect Apple to find a way to restore my data; otherwise, I am prepared to pursue legal action for compensation.
