I purchased my Infinix GT 20 Pro about a year ago, and after installing the latest software update on July 5, I began experiencing a serious internet connectivity issue. Before the update, whenever my mobile data wasn’t working properly, I could fix the problem by switching the network setting from 4.5G to 3G in the call settings. However, after the update, the 3G option disappeared completely, and since then my internet connection has been continuously unstable.
This issue occurs everywhere and all the time. I tried restarting the phone, resetting it to factory settings, removing and reinserting the SIM card—none of these solutions worked. My device is no longer under warranty, and I have not yet contacted customer service. I can provide my IMEI, invoice, or order number if needed.
Because of this problem, I cannot fully use my mobile data plan, my internet goes to waste, and I am experiencing ongoing inconvenience. My expectation from the brand is that a new software update be released to restore the 3G option in the network/call settings and fix this issue.
