I placed an order for a five-door wardrobe and made the payment on January 16, 2025. The products arrived on January 21, 2025, but one two-door wardrobe frame was damaged, and one wardrobe door had a defect. We requested a replacement, and the defective items were taken back. The replacement products arrived on February 11, 2025, but the Horoz Nakliyat delivery personnel refused to open the package for inspection, stating that their job was only to drop it off at the door. While the two-door wardrobe frame was intact, unfortunately, one wardrobe door was again defective. Fifteen minutes after delivery, I contacted IKEA customer service, and they assured me that a report was created and the door would be replaced without any further action required on my part. On February 12, 2025, I received an email requesting detailed photos of the damaged item for assessment. I sent photos of the defective door in response. Then, on February 15, 2025, I received a strange email stating, "You can send the invoice for the products you wish to return or exchange using the Horoz code 88AE28920F3D4." I called customer service, and they asked if I had sent the photos. I confirmed that I had, and they reassured me that the door would be replaced. I continued to wait patiently. Today, on February 20, 2025, I received another email stating that a courier request had been created for the exchange and that the defective item would be picked up from my address for replacement. They instructed me to package the product in a way suitable for transport, preferably in its original or protective packaging, warning that failure to do so could result in the courier refusing to take it. They also stated that adding any items not listed in the request could delay the process. After ten days, they have only now initiated the pickup request, and I was essentially threatened that failing to comply with their detailed packaging instructions would cause further delays. Instead of explaining this long process, it would have been more reasonable not to send a defective product in the first place. As a result, my bedroom has remained unassembled for a month, resembling a construction site due to these defective IKEA products. I regret trusting a so-called global brand, as this experience has been nothing but a disappointment.
