IKEA HEMNES Daybed Slats Broke Repeatedly After Normal Use

Two years ago, we purchased an IKEA HEMNES 80×200 daybed from an IKEA store. Within the same month, the support slats began breaking one by one during the first few uses. Although we did not put any unusual or excessive strain on the product, the slats appeared to be extremely poor in quality, causing them to break from the beginning and the gaps between them to gradually widen. Eventually, the bed became too uncomfortable to sleep on properly.

The daybed’s support slats are now broken, leaving gaps in the sleeping surface and creating an unsafe condition. The fact that the product deteriorated to this extent within such a relatively short period falls far below the level of quality and durability we expected from IKEA.

Because the daybed is now unusable in its current condition, I request a refund of the amount I paid for the HEMNES daybed. I ask IKEA to investigate the issue and take the necessary steps to resolve my complaint.
