IGG Viking Rise Refuses to Delete My Account and Personal Data

I am submitting a formal complaint about IGG’s mobile game Viking Rise regarding the refusal to delete my account despite my clear request, and the ongoing toxic and unsafe in‑game environment that I and many other players have experienced. On June 29th, 2026, I requested that my Viking Rise account and all associated personal data be deleted. Despite this explicit request, IGG has refused or failed to complete the deletion. I believe players must have control over their own accounts and personal information, and I expect any deletion request to be handled promptly and in full compliance with data protection responsibilities. In addition to this, I have been reporting the toxic environment in Viking Rise for a couple of weeks. This is not simply about strategy or normal competition. Certain players are able to use spending advantages, influence, and control over the community to dominate the game in a way that damages fair play and leaves others feeling they have no realistic chance to compete. Players have reported intimidation, harassment, threats, and behavior that actively pushes people out of the game, yet these concerns have not been properly addressed or taken seriously. The in‑game environment has included bullying, harassment, and toxic behavior from other users, creating an unsafe and hostile atmosphere, especially for younger players and children. Parents should be clearly informed that online interactions in Viking Rise may expose players to harassment, aggressive or abusive communication, social pressure, and targeted behavior from other players, all of which make the game unsuitable for minors without close supervision. It is very concerning that, instead of taking meaningful action, players are often told that the behavior they are reporting does not technically violate the rules, while the rules themselves appear to change constantly. A company that provides an online multiplayer environment has a clear responsibility to take player safety, fair play, and data protection seriously. Ignoring account deletion requests and failing to address harassment concerns damages user trust. It has been repeatedly reported by many players that there is a toxic environment within Viking Rise, yet it appears that little or no effective action has been taken, and those causing harm face no real consequences. I therefore request that IGG immediately and permanently delete my Viking Rise account and all related personal data, and provide written confirmation once this has been completed. In addition, I expect IGG to either genuinely improve the game to ensure a fair‑play environment or to make it clearly kid‑friendly with proper protections and moderation, or, at minimum, to place a clear and prominent warning that Viking Rise is effectively an adults‑only game. I also expect the age rating and content description of the game to be updated so that they accurately reflect the real in‑game environment and risks. I am sharing this complaint so that my account and data deletion request is finally respected, and so that current and future players, especially parents and younger users, are not misled about the safety and nature of Viking Rise.
