Urgent: Wrong Mileage Recorded – Hyundai I20
I own a Hyundai i20 and I am submitting this complaint due to a serious problem with the mileage information recorded during a service visit at Atmaş Authorized Service in Tekirdağ Çorlu. During the service carried out in 06.2025 at this authorized service, the mileage of my vehicle was entered into the system as approximately 131,000 km. However, based on my vehicle’s actual usage and previous service records, I am certain that the mileage at that time should have been around 80,000 km. This significant discrepancy clearly indicates that the mileage was recorded incorrectly. I noticed this discrepancy some time after the service when I reviewed my vehicle’s service records. After realizing the issue, I contacted Hyundai Turkey, explained the situation in detail, and a case was opened by the headquarters. Since then, I have repeatedly followed up, but each time I was only told that I needed to wait. Despite several months having passed, I still have not received any clear explanation, written statement, or concrete resolution regarding the correction of this incorrect mileage entry. This ongoing uncertainty and lack of progress is extremely disappointing and undermines my trust in both the authorized service and Hyundai Turkey. The erroneous mileage record seriously affects the accuracy and reliability of my vehicle’s service history, and it may cause problems in warranty processes, technical evaluations, and the potential resale value of my vehicle in the future. I do not accept that such a critical mistake remains unresolved for months and that I am constantly asked to keep waiting without any concrete action. For these reasons, I kindly but firmly request the following: that the mileage history of my vehicle and the service record at Atmaş Authorized Service in Tekirdağ Çorlu dated 06.2025 be examined in detail; that the incorrect mileage entry of approximately 131,000 km be reviewed and corrected in line with the actual mileage, which should be around 80,000 km; and that I be provided with a clear, written and concrete response confirming that the necessary correction has been made in Hyundai’s official service system. I request that this matter be treated as urgent, that my grievance be resolved without any further delay, and that all necessary steps be taken to ensure that my vehicle’s service records accurately reflect the correct mileage information.
Hello, I still haven't received any response. It's been months since we opened a case at the main office, and I still haven't been answered or contacted. I bought this vehicle second‑hand; if this is correct, I need to sue the seller, and there is a deadline for filing a lawsuit. I expect an urgent reply.
