Hyundai Ignores My 2024 i20 10 T GDI Engine Scraping Noise Issue
My 2024 Hyundai i20 1.0 T-GDI makes a metal scraping noise coming from the engine when I accelerate while driving. This problem has persisted since the beginning of August. On August 14th, I contacted the Iskenderun Arslanoğlu Hyundai Service Center, but they told me the problem was normal and ignored me. After filing a complaint with headquarters, I was invited back to the service center. During a test drive on August 18th, the technician detected an abnormal noise and left my vehicle at the service center for inspection. When I returned to pick up the vehicle on August 22nd, they told me "there was no abnormal noise," returned it without any work, and the problem persisted. They also requested that I sign the vehicle delivery form, stating "the vehicle noise is within normal standards." When I called headquarters again, they refused to help and dismissed me. Since my car wasn't making any noise, why did they claim "there was a noise" and take it to the service center for four days? I never received an answer. Although my warranty is still valid, I haven't seen any solution-oriented approach from either the service center or headquarters. I demand a resolution to my problem and an improvement in Hyundai's service quality.
