Hyundai Refused to Replace Faulty Injectors of Tucson Under Warranty
I took my 2020 Hyundai Assan Tucson to the authorized service during the warranty period because the engine warning light turned on. After inspection, the service team informed me that the crankshaft sensor and another sensor were faulty, and they would replace them free of charge if I agreed to perform the 60,000 km maintenance, which I accepted. After replacing the parts, a test drive was conducted, during which the entire system of the car shut down and the vehicle did not respond to throttle or other commands. It was then discovered that the injectors were faulty, and the faulty part was removed and sent to Istanbul. According to the report prepared afterward, the issue originated from the injector itself, and this report was submitted to the headquarters. However, the headquarters stated that the injectors would not be covered under warranty and that I would need to cover the cost. I am a victim of this situation and will initiate legal action. I am being denied a warranty service I am entitled to. This decision was based on my maintenance history, but even company officials admit that such an injector failure cannot be prevented by regular maintenance. I am shocked by the attitude of a brand with such long-standing value. I chose this vehicle because I trusted the Hyundai Assan brand, but I no longer wish to use cars from a company that tries to place the blame on the user. Furthermore, although I requested the report on the injector issue, I was told it would not be given to me unless I paid for the new injectors. I am filing a complaint and will pursue all legal avenues.
