For about 10-15 days, my 2022 model Hyundai Tucson’s multimedia screen has been constantly performing unintended actions such as entering the menu or radio by itself. The problem recurs regularly every day and seriously affects my usage.
After the issue appeared, I contacted Trabzon Hyundai Çakırlar service. Although they stated that my vehicle is under warranty until 2027, they said that digital screens are not covered by the warranty and that the screen can only be replaced for a fee. I also received a paid replacement offer from another service outside, but I did not proceed. My vehicle is registered at Trabzon Hyundai service, it is a 2022 model and has 27,000 km.
I also contacted Hyundai headquarters. The headquarters had the Trabzon service contact me, and again I was told that it is not covered by the warranty and that no action could be taken. I have been aggrieved by this situation and frankly, I did not expect such an approach from a brand like Hyundai.
Although my vehicle is under warranty, I request that this issue be resolved free of charge and that the multimedia screen be replaced under warranty. I kindly ask for my grievance to be remedied. My vehicle license plate: 61 SC 317.
