I own a 2020 Hyundai Tucson with only 27,000 kilometers and a warranty covering up to 80,000 kilometers until 2027. Since purchasing the vehicle, it has consistently shown emission errors. Every time I took it to the service center, they performed a regeneration and sent me away. Recently, the warnings became more frequent, so I returned to the service center. They kept the car for three days, then called me back and performed another regeneration. However, the issue reappeared after just 100 kilometers. When I complained, they said the problem was with the particulate filter and it needed to be replaced. Despite requesting it under warranty, the claim was denied after 20 days because of one missing oil maintenance record. How can this be? The problem has always existed. Hyundai kept sending me away with regenerations without solving the root issue. Is Hyundai just looking for an excuse to avoid honoring the warranty? I've owned other vehicles with warranties and never faced such treatment. I was considering purchasing an i20, but my trust in Hyundai is now shaken. I want this issue resolved under the warranty.
