I purchased my Hyundai vehicle as brand new on 30.07.2019. All maintenance and repairs have been carried out at the authorized service center; it has never been taken elsewhere. I have all the invoices, and the vehicle is still under warranty. The first issue occurred on 23.12.2024 when the engine warning light (yellow) came on. I scheduled a service appointment and took the car in; the lower oxygen sensor was replaced, and the urea injector wiring pins were tightened. However, only seven days later, on 30.12.2024, the same warning reappeared, and I returned the car to the service center. This time, I was told the sensor pins were tightened again, and the steering knuckle was secured, and the car was returned. On 19.02.2025, I brought the car in for the third time with the same issue. They noted that the lower urea injector wiring was tightened and that the NOx catalyst and injector would be monitored. I was informed that the urea catalyst needed to be replaced, and after the part was supplied, it was changed. On 15.04.2025, I went to the service center for the fifth time with the same problem. On 09.05.2025, I was told the DPF part needed to be replaced. I brought the car back on 30.05.2025 for this procedure. That same day, I received a call from the service center informing me that the compression values were low and that the engine required revision. The first warning appeared in December, and now it’s June, and the issue still hasn’t been resolved. Despite all the parts that have been replaced, there is still no definitive diagnosis. My car has only 60,000 km on it, it is still under warranty, and all services were performed at the same center, yet there is still no resolution. The process has been handled through trial and error. If I am facing this level of inconvenience even under warranty, then what is the actual benefit of having a warranty? As a customer, I’m worn out by this entire process. This service experience does not reflect the standards I expected from Hyundai. The recurring failures, despite part replacements, are also negatively impacting the car’s resale value. How do you plan to compensate me for this ongoing problem?
