When I attempted to withdraw my money on September 15, 2023, I was met with a troubling request. To withdraw funds, they required an official copy of both the front and back of my Turkish ID card, as well as proof of residency, citing security concerns. However, I am hesitant to provide such sensitive information to entities other than government institutions. My privacy is important to me, and I am hesitant to share these details. I feel compelled to express my displeasure with this requirement because it violates my personal privacy.
