38-Day Delay in Refund from Hummel Kids – Payment Still Not Returned
On August 31, 2024, I made a purchase from the Hummel Kids section and requested a return just 30 minutes later. The store staff informed me that they couldn’t process the return due to a QR code issue and would contact me the next day. The next day, I was told the refund wouldn’t be processed back to my card but through an IBAN transfer. I provided my IBAN information, but now, 38 days later, I still haven’t received my refund. While the store staff was helpful, the accounting/central department has been incredibly problematic. How can they hold onto my money for over a month? I will be filing an official complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee and pursuing legal action. If you're considering returning an item to Hummel, you might as well consider your money gone.
