Hotels.com Canceled My Alaçatı Rebetiko Hotel Reservation Without Consent and Charged Me
I booked a stay at Alaçatı Otel Rebetiko from May 1 at 3:00 PM to May 4 at 12:00 PM, with booking reference number 73066003350644. I only wanted to check how much the cancellation fee would be if I decided to cancel — but without any confirmation or acceptance on my part, the reservation was immediately canceled with just one click.
I am extremely frustrated because I had no intention to finalize the cancellation at that moment. Due to poor site design, lack of clear instructions, and the absence of an explicit confirmation step, I am now expected to pay for a trip I cannot take.
I demand that Hotels.com address this issue and reverse the cancellation charges. I should not be held financially responsible for a system error that did not properly confirm my decision. I hope this matter will be resolved fairly and promptly.
Today, a deduction was made from my card. It was mistakenly canceled a week ago due to the lack of proper guidance and incorrect instructions on the website, and they did not reverse this action. The deduction from my card is unfair. I request a refund.
