On 21/11/2022, I purchased a Hoover brand HOO. H3W model washing machine from the Media Markt Sayapark AVM branch, along with an extended warranty. However, 6-7 months after starting to use the machine, it began making strange noises. We contacted the authorized service and requested assistance. Despite visiting twice on different dates and observing the machine's condition, they left without performing any repairs. Since I was out of town, I could not follow up closely, and the machine continued to be used in my family’s home. About 5 months ago, we again requested service. This time, they performed some procedures, but the machine started leaking water and emitting bad odors in addition to the previous issues. As a result, the machine has been unusable for 2 months. Despite numerous calls, the service has not addressed the issue and, with an extremely disrespectful tone, stated things like "We will charge if we come." Even though we have both a warranty and insurance, we are dissatisfied with the company as they have failed to stand behind their product. The lack of attention to the product is not entirely uncommon with some companies, but the behavior of this company's service representatives is unacceptable. The service staff and all personnel involved have displayed a rude attitude, seemingly because of my family’s residence in a neighborhood with a lower education level and their belonging to a marginalized community. Additionally, my family members are illiterate, and service staff appear to take advantage of this, treating them rudely and condescendingly. This is a destructive situation. The fact that this behavior comes from employees of a brand we chose to use is disheartening and will undoubtedly influence our future decisions and preferences. Even customer service adopts a disrespectful and careless attitude when we share our address details or when they hear our regional accent during phone calls. In contrast, I also use Hoover brand products in my own home, and when my spouse calls for service, she is treated with great respect and attention. This stark difference in treatment is unacceptable. For all these reasons, I have lodged a formal complaint and submitted the necessary documents to the Consumer Arbitration Committee before writing this message. In addition to the unresolved technical issues with the product, we will pursue legal action for the discrimination and insults experienced in every possible way and on every platform, as we have always done.
