Support and Optimization Issues with the Honor 90 After the Purchase!
Positive Aspects:
-The camera looks fantastic, though I haven't had much chance to fully experience it.
-The screen and interface provide a smooth user experience.
Negative Aspects:
-The battery life doesn't seem too promising; there's talk about the battery needing time to settle, but I won't confirm anything.
-As seen in the shared images, the phone crops videos on platforms like Reels and shorts from the sides, creating a disruptive experience for videos with content at the edges.
-Optimization issues persist on the phone.
-After using YouTube.com for a while, it crashed spontaneously. I could log in again after clearing the RAM, but this indicates potential optimization problems.
I shared the video cropping issue with Honor live support, inquiring whether it's a settings or device-specific problem. After half an hour of sharing screen recordings and screenshots, they abruptly ended the conversation. Consequently, I plan to return the phone as soon as possible!
The most troubling aspect for me was the negative experience with post-purchase support. While I could have continued using this feature-rich phone in the hope that optimization issues would be resolved with updates, the negativity in post-purchase support has led me to consider returning it. If there's a risk of facing complete usability issues, and they might shut me out again, turning the device into trash, I am hesitant to even consider this brand again.
