Honor 400 Software Shortcomings - It Lacks Key Features

I'm currently using the Honor 400, and while it's truly a smooth and high-quality phone, there are some major shortcomings that really affect the user experience: 1. Google Messages Issue Messages don't arrive in the Google Messages app at all. I couldn’t figure out the issue, but when I switched to another SMS app, everything worked fine. It's disappointing that the default messaging app doesn’t work properly, and even worse—Honor doesn't provide its own messaging app. 2. No Option to Stop Charging at 80% I’m not a heavy phone user—mostly social media and communication—but the battery life is still poor. I used to have a Samsung device, and the option to stop charging at 80% was a lifesaver to extend battery lifespan. This feature is totally missing here, and it needs to be added urgently. 3. No "Modes and Routines"-Like Feature Samsung had an amazing feature that allowed automatic actions like toggling Wi-Fi, mobile data, etc., based on routines. Honor doesn’t offer anything similar, which is a real letdown. 4. Limited Lock Screen Customization Only the font of the clock can be changed—its size, position, or style can’t be modified. On top of that, there’s no option to access the notification panel from the lock screen. This really limits personalization. 5. Poor Icon Customization You can't use third-party icon packs with themes. Only Honor’s built-in options are available, and honestly, I didn’t like any of them. Even installing a basic, clean icon pack is not possible. 6. SwiftKey Keyboard This keyboard is really bad, and unfortunately, it can’t be removed. I installed Gboard instead, which is okay, but I truly believe Honor should develop its own high-quality keyboard app. If these five issues are addressed, Honor could become a truly top-tier and widely preferred brand. I really want my next phone to be another Honor, but without these features, it’s hard to stay loyal. Please
