I Bought the Honor 200 Pro and Its Back Shattered from a Half-Meter Drop

About a month ago, I purchased the Honor 200 Pro, and I’m extremely disappointed with its build quality. Despite having a protective case, cover, and screen film, the phone fell from just half a meter—and the back glass completely shattered. This kind of damage from such a small fall is unacceptable for a device in this price range.

What’s worse is that my previous Oppo phone survived a four-story drop without a scratch, which makes me seriously question the material quality and durability of the Honor 200 Pro.

To make matters even more frustrating, there’s no service center in my city. I have to send the phone to Adana, and the process could take up to a month just to get a response. I paid nearly ₺25,000 for this phone, and I did not expect it to break this easily—or be this difficult to get serviced.

Honor, this is unacceptable. If you’re charging premium prices, your devices should be able to handle basic accidents. I expect either a proper repair, replacement, or full refund. Others considering this phone should think twice—what’s the point of a flagship that can’t survive a short fall?

At the end of March, I purchased a Turkey-warrantied Honor Pro 200 mobile phone via Hepsiburada. Trusting social media and user reviews, I chose this device, which cost me around 30,000 TL.

Although I always used the device with a protective case, it slipped from my hand and fell from just half a meter, breaking the back cover. At that time, I was in Şanlıurfa for work. However, since there was no authorized service in the area, I had to send the device to the İzmir KVK service center for repair on 24.06.2025. A high fee of 10,000 TL was requested for the repair, which I paid. My phone was not repaired for 20 business days. They could not supply the part. Neither KVK nor Honor is resolving my grievance. I have emailed the Honor brand multiple times. They keep saying the same things; I sent my invoice, service record, everything. There is still no response. I hope those who are considering buying Honor read this complaint and reconsider.

Friends, think not twice but twenty times before buying a Honor brand phone. Even though I paid for the repair, there has been no spare part for a month and I am without a phone. If you ever need to use the warranty, they make your life miserable. I was a victim, don’t let it happen to you.
