My Oppo Reno 13F "Waterproof" Phone Died in a Puddle
I am absolutely incensed with Oppo and Vatan Bilgisayar! Last month, I bought an Oppo Reno 13F from Vatan Bilgisayar, specifically because it was advertised with IP69 water resistance and the ability to shoot videos underwater. This was a key selling point for me.
My month-old phone accidentally fell into a decorative fountain, a mere 30 cm deep. I immediately pulled it out and wiped it dry. However, the damage was instant and severe: the SIM card stopped reading, the touchscreen became unresponsive, and then the phone completely shut down.
Now, to add insult to injury, the service center quoted me ₺21,900 for repairs on a phone that only cost ₺18,789! I'm still paying installments on a device that's now completely useless. This is unacceptable. Neither Oppo's service department nor Vatan Bilgisayar, who sold me this falsely advertised product, has taken any responsibility.
I demand an immediate resolution. You advertised a waterproof phone that clearly isn't. This is consumer fraud. I expect either a full refund, a free replacement, or a complete and free repair for this defective product. Both Oppo and Vatan Bilgisayar need to stand by their products and their advertising.
