Honor Magic Lite 7 Showed Touchscreen Failure After Minor Drop
I bought the Honor Magic Lite 7 model phone trusting its durability, but after only 4 days of use, I noticed a touchscreen problem the day after it fell from about 30 cm inside my bag. When I called customer service, I explained that the phone had fallen inside the bag, yet Honor’s advertisements specifically emphasize that the device would not be damaged even if it fell from 2 meters. I ordered the product on July 31, received it on August 4, and encountered this issue on August 8. I delivered the device to the KVK service center in Ankara on August 19, and they demanded a repair fee of ₺5,700, stating that damage was found in the SIM card tray area and claiming it was not covered under warranty, labeling it as user error. For a phone to show such a serious malfunction in such a short time and from such a minor impact proves that the durability advertisements are misleading. While I expected a solution from customer service such as free repair or a refund, no positive response was given. Since I paid ₺15,299 for this device, I urgently request either a refund or free repair due to the issue I experienced.
