Sportworks Delays Full Refund for Helly Hansen Shoes to 4 Installments

I purchased Helly Hansen shoes from Sportworks but returned them the same day because the size was unavailable. I paid ₺4,320 in 4 installments and expected a full refund under the 7-day withdrawal right. However, Sportworks informed me that the refund would also be made in 4 installments of ₺1,080 per month due to their payment processor’s policy.

When I questioned this, they shifted the blame between their payment provider and my bank. Regardless, this arrangement is unacceptable, as the full refund should have been processed immediately after my return.

This policy causes unnecessary financial strain, especially in an inflationary economy. I urge Sportworks and their payment provider, İ Para, to reconsider this practice. Consumers should be aware of such refund delays before shopping with them.
