Unauthorized Guardio Charges of $119.88 and $70.00 – Refund Request

I am writing regarding an unresolved billing issue with Guardio concerning my phone protection subscription. My intention was to subscribe only to a low-cost monthly phone protection plan of approximately $5.00 per month. However, I was charged the monthly fee twice and, on June 21, 2026, I was also charged $119.88 for what appears to be an annual plan that I neither selected nor intended to purchase. After contacting Guardio, I was informed that I would receive a credit and that a refund would be processed. Unfortunately, the refund to my debit card was unsuccessful, and my card was also unable to accept the $5.00 charge. Because of this, I specifically requested that the refund be issued through an alternative method, such as a check, a gift card, or any other available option. Despite my request, I have still not received my refund. In addition, I have now noticed an unexpected charge of $70.00, which I do not recognize and never authorized. I kindly request that Guardio immediately refund the full amount of all incorrect and unauthorized charges, including $119.88 and $70.00, using a payment method that I can successfully receive, such as a check or gift card if a refund to my card is not possible. I also request the immediate cancellation of my Guardio phone protection plan or membership to ensure that no further charges are made to my account in the future.
