GoToGate misspelled my name, how can I correct it without cost?

Most airlines require that the name on your ticket match the name on your passport exactly. GoToGate says that changes can be expensive because they have to follow the airline's rules.

But small changes, like adding one or two characters, are usually free as long as they are made quickly. This is because many companies don't charge for small changes like spelling.

The first thing you need to do is go to GoToGate's "My Bookings" page and change your name under "Trip Details."

Next, use the airline's own policy to get in touch with GoToGate help by chat or phone and ask them to consider the mistake as a minor fix instead of a full name change.

If GoToGate tries to charge you, call the airline directly and ask if they offer free spelling checks. Then, ask for proof in writing.

Share that with GoToGate once you have it so they can make the change for free.

If the problem remains unresolved, consider filing a complaint on Xolvie to raise awareness about the issue and inform others.
