GoPro Max Failed After Minimal Water Use – Warranty Rejected

On 20.11.2023, I purchased a GoPro Max action camera from Media Markt. Trusting the information on the product box and in the user manual stating that the device is waterproof, I used it once during the summer of 2024 in the sea, at a depth of less than half a meter. During usage, no issues occurred. However, towards the end of 2024, the device started to show malfunctions. All my videos and usage details are recorded and can be provided as proof. I submitted the product under warranty to the Mersin Yenişehir Sayapark branch and presented the invoice. Nevertheless, the service claimed that the malfunction was caused by user error, excluded it from warranty coverage, and only offered a paid repair. However, I used the device strictly according to the instructions and conditions provided by the manufacturer and the seller. My expectation from the brand is that my device should either be repaired free of charge or replaced with a new one. I kindly request that my grievance be resolved as soon as possible.
