GoPro Hero 12 Overheating And Battery Swelling - Refund Requested

I bought a GoPro Hero 12 from Media Markt in Istanbul, Türkiye. Since around August 2024, I have been experiencing serious overheating and battery swelling problems, to the point that I no longer feel safe using the camera and am requesting a full refund. From the beginning, the camera frequently overheated. While we were filming a video during a drive through the forest, the camera suddenly overheated and then shut down. When we tried to remove the battery, we noticed it was extremely swollen and it was very difficult to take it out. At that moment we were seriously afraid that it might explode. We did not want to throw it into the forest because of the risk of fire, so we took a photo of the swollen battery and then disposed of it in the first trash can we could find, but we were genuinely terrified by the situation. Afterwards, I purchased two more original GoPro batteries. One of these new batteries also started to swell slightly. Because of this, I am now afraid to use the camera at all. I reported the issue to Media Markt and the device was sent under warranty to the authorized service company Trio Zirai ve Motorlu Araçlar Ticaret A.Ş. Media Markt staff forwarded all the documents and images, including the photo of the swollen battery that we had to throw away. However, these documents were later ignored and even denied as if they had never been submitted. I have the impression that the emails and attached files were not checked carefully. The service updated the camera twice and sent it back to me, but the safety problem was not resolved. I have now sent the camera for warranty repair a third time, and I still do not see any concrete step towards a refund. I use the camera mounted on my chest for my shots, and considering the overheating and battery swelling I have already experienced, I am genuinely afraid that the battery may explode while I am wearing it. For my safety and peace of mind, I am requesting a full refund of the GoPro Hero 12. I ask for this process to be reviewed together with all the documents and photos that were previously shared through Media Markt, and for a definitive and safe solution to be provided as soon as possible.
