ShortMax Weekly Pass Pro Charged After Google Play Cancellation

53

I am writing about an issue with the ShortMax “Weekly Pass Pro” subscription purchased through the Google Play Store in the United States. I cancelled this subscription on April 21, 2026, and in my Google Play app it clearly shows the status as “Expired on April 21, 2026” under Subscriptions. Despite this, I was still charged again on April 29, 2026, in the amount of 19.99 USD. Since the subscription appears as expired on my side, I was not expecting and did not authorize any further charges, and I do not understand why the billing continued after cancellation. I kindly request that the Weekly Pass Pro subscription be fully cancelled on your end so that no further charges are made, and that a refund be issued for the most recent 19.99 USD charge on April 29, 2026. I also request a clear explanation of how this situation occurred despite the subscription status showing as expired in Google Play, and what steps will be taken to prevent it from happening again. I have not been able to find a direct way to contact ShortMax support, so I am raising this complaint in order to receive a proper response, the requested refund, and written confirmation that my subscription has been cancelled completely.
