I'm annoyed because Google Play refuses to cancel orders and refund charges. They claim that the payments have already been processed and that the funds will be deposited into my account within 10 business days. But, of course, the money never appears. In other words, they do not offer refunds. They open their own case, calculate the amount to be refunded, and then claim they have already processed the payment, thereby avoiding actual reimbursement. They deposit a small sum as hush money as a token gesture. Customer service representatives are especially unhelpful. Every time I contact them, I get a different person who responds with automated, canned responses. They never follow through on their promises. What they're doing is unethical, but they don't seem to mind using our money for their own gain. When it comes to refunding money that is rightfully the customer's, the intermediary institution should not withhold it.
