Unauthorized Debit Card Charge by Finda.net Despite Bank Notification
My spouse lost their phone on October 29, 2025. In order to locate the phone, we tried to get help online through a website called finda.net, and I paid $1 through that site. However, I did not receive any service at all. Later, on December 30, 2025, I noticed that finda.net had made an additional unauthorized virtual POS charge of $40 from my debit card linked to my Ziraat Bank account, without my knowledge or consent.
Within minutes of noticing this unauthorized transaction, I immediately contacted Ziraat Bank, requested that the transaction be canceled, and had my card blocked. My claim that this payment did not belong to me was officially recorded. Despite this, the fact that such a high amount was transferred to the other party without my knowledge or SMS confirmation is extremely concerning from both finda.net’s and the bank’s perspective, and does not feel secure or trustworthy.
I am requesting that the $40 withdrawn from my account by finda.net without my consent be refunded to me. If possible, I am also requesting a refund of the $1 I paid for the initial transaction. Additionally, I expect Ziraat Bank to conduct the necessary investigation and fully compensate me for all losses caused by this transaction, which occurred due to insufficient security controls.
