Finda Net Deducted R750 Without Proof or Reference Number
I am a NetBank customer based in Klerksdorp, North West, and I am writing regarding an unfair charge related to a lost phone service. On December 21, I requested assistance through the “locate my lost phone” service after my phone went missing. However, the phone was never found.
On January 21, 2026, I received a message stating that Finda Net had deducted R750 from my NetBank account for this service. However, this amount does not appear on my NetBank statement, and I have not received any clear confirmation, explanation, or documentation regarding this charge. I was also not provided with any reference number or claim number related to this transaction.
Since my phone was not recovered and the charge is unclear and unsupported, I am requesting that the R750 be refunded to me and that this charge be canceled if it is still pending. I also expect NetBank and Finda Net to investigate this issue thoroughly and ensure that no further unauthorized or unexplained deductions are made from my account.
