Dissatisfaction with Fiat Egea Warranties and the Absence of Responsibility

The multimedia tablet screen of my 2022 TOFAŞ-Fiat Egea model vehicle exhibited a wavy deformation on the glass. There had been a protective film on it since the day we bought the vehicle, and when we removed it, we discovered this issue. We took it to Poyraz Service, and they captured an image and sent it to TOFAŞ for assessment. The response from the relevant personnel, referred to as Nazım Hodja, was that the problem was related to the protective film and should be resolved by removing it. They insisted it was not a product defect. In response, I expressed my dissatisfaction, questioning why they hadn't provided a warning or information about the protective film, and requested this response in writing as a service report. Izmir Poyraz Service scheduled an appointment and documented the issue in the service report, stating that it was not solely related to the product. However, they maintained that it was due to the unremoved protective film, which contradicted their initial statement. When I asked them to provide the same response in writing, they cited internal company correspondence as the reason for not doing so. Faced with my intention to escalate the matter to the Consumer Court, they changed their stance, now claiming that the damage wasn't product-related, yet they refused to specify the cause. Despite my vehicle being brand new and still under a 2-year and 2-month warranty, this experience left me feeling victimized. I had been a loyal TOFAŞ-Fiat customer for seven years, even purchasing my previous Fiat vehicle from Poyraz Automotive and having it serviced there. Regrettably, I am now pursuing my rights through legal channels due to the way I've been treated. I want to make it clear that I will not buy their vehicles again and will not recommend them to others.
