On December 17th, 2023, I purchased the Fakir Pro Intermix blender set. In September 2024, while using the product, I heard a strange noise from the cutting blade inside the blender foot, and upon checking, I saw that the blade had dropped. When I took this product, which is not even a year old yet, to the authorized service center in Istanbul, I was told that the problem could have been caused by liquid entering the blender foot, that it would be considered user error and thus not accepted by the company, and that the part could only be replaced for a fee. I said I would not accept this, as the likelihood of liquid entering such a part during food preparation is high, and that the company should be held responsible for this issue, and that repair or replacement should be done free of charge, leaving the product at the service center. Within less than 10 minutes, the service center called back to inform me that the company had refused. As someone who used a Tefal blender for 14 years before this one and never experienced such an issue, I completely blame Fakir for this defect and find it unethical that they are blaming the user. I consider Fakir to be a company with no business ethics, treating its customers as if they are fools. I believe that companies like Fakir should be avoided by consumers until they fix their practices, or otherwise, I hope they end up in the trash heap of history.

The process was concluded as of today. After entering the information here, although the Fakir brand stated that they would respond within 7 business days, they did not respond in any way. Upon this, I submitted an application by entering the necessary information to the Consumer Arbitration Committee through e-Government. The process took a bit long, but after the necessary examination by the expert, the decision was in my favor. As a decision, it was concluded that all the expenses made by the consumer arbitration committee should be paid by Fakir and that the necessary part should be replaced with a new one, considering it a defective product. From here, I would like to advise all consumers not to prefer Fakir products that do not stand by their defective products despite being under warranty, and to follow the same path to claim their rights from Fakir if they experience this problem.
