Fakir Delayed My Warranty Refund After Failing to Repair My Product
In December 2025, I purchased a Fakir Petpard Ultra Quiet Smart Cat & Dog Water Fountain (Product Code: 41005287) from Fakir Hausgeräte for my cats. I paid $100 by credit card. In mid-April 2026, the product stopped working, and I took it to the authorized service center designated by the company under the warranty.
Every time I contacted the authorized service center, I was told that I would receive an update. At the end of May, I called again and was informed that the product had been sent to the factory and that I would be contacted once the factory completed its evaluation. One or two weeks later, I was told that the product could not be repaired, that there was no replacement unit in stock, and that I would therefore receive a refund. I was also told that Fakir Hausgeräte's relevant department would contact me with further information, but I never received that call.
When I checked the service status on the company's website, I found a note stating that the product could not be repaired and had been returned to me in its defective condition. However, I never received the defective product. I then contacted customer service and explained that this information was inaccurate and that the authorized service center had already informed me that I would receive a refund. The customer service representative reviewed the records, said the matter would be forwarded to the appropriate department, and confirmed that the process had been initiated.
