I Lost Money to a Fake QNB Ad I Clicked on Facebook

July 10, 2025 7:17 PM83

Advertisements on Facebook are not adequately regulated. Even a bank advertisement can be published by unauthorized individuals. I applied based on trust in a QNB promotional ad that appeared on Facebook. The next day, I received a call from 0 850 640 14 83 regarding the promotion process. As a result, I lost ₺85,000. How is it possible for someone unauthorized to place such an ad under the name of a global institution? Doesn’t Facebook hold any responsibility in this situation? I demand compensation from Facebook for the material and moral damages I have suffered due to this misleading advertisement. I hereby state that if I am not compensated within two weeks, I will file a lawsuit against Facebook for both material and moral damages.
