On February 9, 2026, I made two separate reservations through the Hotels.com app with reservation numbers 72070950189190 and 72070950336756. For reservation number 72070950336756, I selected the “pay at property” option. For reservation number 72070950189190, I paid $241 with my credit card ending in 6382, as shown in the system. However, when I checked my credit card statement, I noticed that $252 was actually charged.
The hotel page clearly stated that cancellations made by March 19, 2026 would be eligible for a refund. Relying on this condition, I canceled both reservations through the Hotels.com app on March 15, 2026. Despite this, the $252 charge has still not been refunded to my credit card.
I was unable to find a direct phone number or local contact channel for Hotels.com in Türkiye. I sent an email to Expedia Group but did not receive any response. Since these cancellations were made in accordance with the stated policy, I request that the $252 charged to my card be refunded as soon as possible. Otherwise, I will file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee and relevant authorities. I also request a written explanation regarding this process.
