Eurowings Denied Boarding After Delay Due to Broken Conveyor
On July 25, 2024, I arrived at the airport for my Eurowings flight from Düsseldorf to Manchester scheduled for 07:45. However, while checking in my carry-on, the conveyor belt broke down, causing a delay that left us waiting. Despite arriving at the boarding gate by 07:33 (just minutes after the 07:15-07:30 boarding window), Eurowings staff refused to let us board, even though we had already completed check-in. This unexpected equipment issue wasn’t our fault, yet we were unfairly penalized. I am incredibly frustrated with how Eurowings handled this situation and am requesting immediate assistance to rectify this issue, including compensation or rebooking options.
