Eurowings Charged Me Unfairly €60 for Bag at Kavala Airport

April 27, 2025 4:59 PM14

On my return flight from Kavala to Düsseldorf on April 27, 2025, I faced unfair treatment and discrimination by the baggage handler at Kavala Airport. My suitcase, measuring 42×30×20 cm, passed without issue at Düsseldorf Airport. However, at Kavala, the staff claimed it exceeded size limits due to its wheels when turned sideways and demanded a €45 fine. When I objected, they raised the fine to €60. Shockingly, the passenger in front of me with the same suitcase was not charged or questioned. This inconsistent and unfair treatment by your staff is unacceptable. I am filing this complaint to demand fair treatment and clarification from Eurowings regarding their baggage policies and staff conduct.
