Limited Seats For Eurail Pass Holders, Seating Issues
The process of booking a seat turned out to be a mess, full of confusion and anger. they said they would have customer service, we could reach them in case. We couldn’t see it. When we started our journey, quickly noticed a troubling pattern: most of the train trips that could be booked did not have any seats set aside for people with Eurail passes, this meant I had two less-than-ideal choices: go to a different third-party website or pay extra to book my train travel, even though I had a valid Eurail pass. it wasn't helpful to try to get help from the designated offices, not even the ones in big cities like Paris. When my friends and I realised that our planned trip would not be possible under these conditions, we tried to cancel, but ran into more problems. We were told about insurance fees and conversion fees which made us feel stuck in a system that didn't offer much in the way of support or flexibility.
