ETS Tur Misinformed Us About Visa Requirement For Costa Fortuna Cruise

I purchased a Greece Islands Costa Fortuna cruise tour from ETS Tur for the dates 24–31 May under reservation number 33856021. During the sales process at the ETS Tur branch in Istanbul Capacity AVM, we clearly stated to the sales representative in a face‑to‑face meeting that we regularly enter and exit Greece on weekends with our temporary residence permit. Despite this information, we were not warned at any point that we would not be accepted on the cruise ship without a Schengen visa. In that meeting, the sales representative told us that they would forward our temporary residence documents to Costa Fortuna on the day of the tour and that, since we were already entering and exiting Greece with these documents, there would be no problem. Based on this clear statement, we trusted ETS Tur and completed our purchase. We paid 2,450 euros in cash in person for this tour. On the day of the tour, we went to Istanbul Galataport with our luggage to board Costa Fortuna, but we were not accepted onto the ship and were therefore unable to benefit from the service we had purchased. As a result, we experienced both financial and emotional distress, even though we had already informed ETS Tur in advance about our temporary residence permit and our regular entries and exits to Greece, and we were assured that there would be no issue. Because we were misinformed and received incomplete/incorrect information from ETS Tur, I request a full refund of the tour fee of 2,450 euros that we paid in cash. If my refund request is not met, I would like to state that I will apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and the relevant authorities.
