Essence Mascara Was Completely Dried Out – No Exchange Offered

I purchased an Essence brand mascara, but when I opened it, the product was completely dry and unusable. I immediately returned to the store with my credit card slip, expecting an exchange, but they refused to replace it, claiming I needed a full invoice.
This is completely unacceptable! If a store sells a defective product, they should stand behind it and offer a proper solution. Instead, they ignored my complaint and refused to take responsibility.
Because of this terrible customer service, I will never shop at this store again and do not recommend it to anyone. I demand that Essence resolve this issue and allow returns for defective products.
